This short guide reads the Earnings by Source dashboard with you \u2014 the date-range pills, the eight KPI cards (gross versus your payout, paying viewers, tippers, live sessions, clip buyers, new subscribers, shipped orders), the per-source chips, the daily breakdown chart, the top-earning table, and the CSV and monthly-statement exports.<\/p>\n<div class=\"gc-kb-video\" style=\"margin:0 0 28px\"><video controls preload=\"metadata\" playsinline style=\"width:100%;max-width:100%;border-radius:12px;background:#0B1622;display:block\"><source src=\"https:\/\/guyscat.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/gc-kb-videos\/sales-dashboard-en.mp4\" type=\"video\/mp4\" \/><\/video><\/div>\n<p class=\"gc-kb-lede\">Your earnings dashboard answers one question better than any other surface on the platform: <em>where is the money actually coming from?<\/em> It breaks every cent you&#8217;ve earned out by source \u2014 tips, premium-room minutes, ticket shows, paid messages, clip sales, subscriptions, shipped products \u2014 and lets you slice it by date range, drill into individual top-earning items, and download the raw numbers as CSV. This guide walks through where to find it, what every part of the page means, and how to read it well.<\/p>\n<hr\/>\n<h2>1. Where to find it<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Sign in.<\/li>\n<li>Open the store-manager sidebar and click <strong>Reports<\/strong> (the chart-pie icon) \u2014 it lands on <a href=\"https:\/\/guyscat.com\/store-manager\/reports-sales-by-date\/\">\/store-manager\/reports-sales-by-date\/<\/a> (the legacy Sales-by-date report).<\/li>\n<li>At the top of that page click the <strong>Sales by product<\/strong> tab \u2014 that&#8217;s the one you want. Direct URL: <a href=\"https:\/\/guyscat.com\/store-manager\/reports-sales-by-product\/\">\/store-manager\/reports-sales-by-product\/<\/a>. (The neighbouring tabs \u2014 <em>Sales by date<\/em>, <em>Low in stock<\/em>, <em>Out of stock<\/em> \u2014 are the legacy WC reports and won&#8217;t show your earnings the way this one does.)<\/li>\n<li>You land on the page titled <strong>Earnings by Source<\/strong> with a one-line subtitle: <em>&#8220;Where your money came in \u2014 broken out by tips, premium-room minutes, ticket \/ private \/ voyeur shows, paid messages, clip sales, and more.&#8221;<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>The tab label still says &#8220;Sales by product&#8221; but the page itself is the new source-broken-out earnings view. Same destination \u2014 different name on the door. The date-range bar<\/h2>\n<p>Right under the title, a row of date-range pills sets what the page shows. Five options:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Last 7 Days<\/strong> \u2014 the default.<\/li>\n<li><strong>This Month<\/strong> \u2014 month-to-date.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Last Month<\/strong> \u2014 full prior calendar month.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Year<\/strong> \u2014 January 1 of the current year through today.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Custom<\/strong> \u2014 pick a start and end date yourself.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To the right of the pills, the resolved date range is printed (<em>&#8220;2026-04-15 \u2192 2026-05-10&#8221;<\/em>) so you always know what window the numbers below are for.<\/p>\n<hr\/>\n<h2>3. The KPI cards<\/h2>\n<p>Under the range bar, eight cards summarise the headline numbers for the selected range:<\/p>\n<div class=\"gc-kb-table-scroll\" style=\"overflow-x:auto;-webkit-overflow-scrolling:touch;max-width:100%\"><table>\n<thead>\n<tr>\n<th>Card<\/th>\n<th>What it shows<\/th>\n<\/tr>\n<\/thead>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td><strong>Gross<\/strong><\/td>\n<td>The total before the platform&#8217;s commission split. This is what fans paid you in total.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><strong>Your payout<\/strong><\/td>\n<td>What you actually keep after the commission split. This is the number that lines up with payouts.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><strong>Paying viewers<\/strong><\/td>\n<td>How many distinct fans paid you something in this window \u2014 across all sources combined.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><strong>Tippers<\/strong><\/td>\n<td>How many distinct fans tipped you (subset of paying viewers).<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><strong>Live sessions<\/strong><\/td>\n<td>How many live broadcasts you ran.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><strong>Clip buyers<\/strong><\/td>\n<td>Distinct fans who bought one or more clips.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><strong>New subscribers<\/strong><\/td>\n<td>How many fans subscribed to you in this window.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><strong>Shipped orders<\/strong><\/td>\n<td>How many physical-item orders you marked shipped.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table><\/div>\n<p>The Gross \/ Your payout pair is where most creators look first. The gap between them is the platform&#8217;s cut \u2014 useful to verify the split is what you expect.<\/p>\n<hr\/>\n<h2>4. Bank withdrawals (when there&#8217;s money in your payout pipeline)<\/h2>\n<p>If there&#8217;s any money sitting in your payout pipeline \u2014 paid out already, or queued and pending \u2014 a separate <strong>Bank withdrawals<\/strong> block appears between the KPIs and the daily chart, with three numbers:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Total withdrawn<\/strong> \u2014 the total your bank has actually received from us.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Pending Netfield payout<\/strong> \u2014 money owed to you that&#8217;s queued but hasn&#8217;t transferred yet.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Lifetime payouts<\/strong> \u2014 every euro ever paid out across the lifetime of your account.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Underneath, a one-line status: either <em>&#8220;Last bank transfer: [date]&#8221;<\/em>, or <em>&#8220;Netfield pulled the last payout XML on [date]. Source chips \u2014 slice by where the money came from<\/h2>\n<p>Below the KPIs is a row of chips: <strong>All sources<\/strong> first, then one per revenue stream. Click a chip and the rest of the page (the daily chart and the top-earning table) filters to that source only. The chips:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Tips<\/strong> \u2014 free-form and tip-menu tips during live shows.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Premium-room meter<\/strong> \u2014 the per-minute charges in Premium per-minute rooms.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ticket shows<\/strong> \u2014 ticket purchases for ticketed live broadcasts.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Voyeur participants<\/strong> \u2014 fans paying to watch a private show as a voyeur.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Private shows<\/strong> \u2014 1:1 private show payments.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Pay-per-view &amp; paid messages<\/strong> \u2014 PPV unlocks on locked messages and PPV media in chat.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Live PM<\/strong> \u2014 paid private messages sent through the live-room PM panel.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Feed tips<\/strong> \u2014 tips sent on feed posts.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Clip sales<\/strong> \u2014 one-off clip purchases.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Subscriptions<\/strong> \u2014 recurring monthly subscription payments.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Shipped products<\/strong> \u2014 physical-item orders.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The colour next to each chip carries through to the daily chart legend and the table&#8217;s source pills, so you can scan visually.<\/p>\n<hr\/>\n<h2>6. The daily breakdown chart<\/h2>\n<p>The <strong>Daily breakdown<\/strong> chart stacks daily earnings across the selected range. With <em>All sources<\/em> selected, every bucket gets its own colour band per day; with a single source selected, only that source&#8217;s bar shows.<\/p>\n<p>If the range has no earnings yet, the chart area shows <em>&#8220;No earnings recorded in this range yet.&#8221;<\/em> instead.<\/p>\n<p>This is the single most useful surface for spotting patterns \u2014 which days of the week earn most, what happens on streaming days vs non-streaming days, whether a feature you launched (a sale, a new subscription tier) actually shifted the numbers.<\/p>\n<hr\/>\n<h2>7. Top earning clips &amp; shows<\/h2>\n<p>Below the chart, a table called <strong>Top earning clips &amp; shows<\/strong> lists individual items that produced revenue in the selected range. Six columns:<\/p>\n<div class=\"gc-kb-table-scroll\" style=\"overflow-x:auto;-webkit-overflow-scrolling:touch;max-width:100%\"><table>\n<thead>\n<tr>\n<th>Column<\/th>\n<th>Shows<\/th>\n<\/tr>\n<\/thead>\n<tbody>\n<tr>\n<td><strong>Asset<\/strong><\/td>\n<td>The clip name, show title, subscription tier \u2014 whatever the line item is for.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><strong>Source<\/strong><\/td>\n<td>Coloured pill for the bucket (Tips \/ Clip sales \/ Subscriptions, etc.).<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><strong>Count<\/strong><\/td>\n<td>How many transactions happened against this asset.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><strong>Gross<\/strong><\/td>\n<td>Total before the commission split.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><strong>Your payout<\/strong><\/td>\n<td>What you keep after the split.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td><strong>Last activity<\/strong><\/td>\n<td>The most recent date and time this asset earned anything.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table><\/div>\n<p>If you haven&#8217;t sold or received anything in the range, you&#8217;ll see <em>&#8220;Nothing to list yet \u2014 once viewers tip, subscribe, or join a show, it&#8217;ll show up here.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<hr\/>\n<h2>8. Per-clip earnings card on the edit page<\/h2>\n<p>The dashboard shows you the <em>top<\/em> earning items, but every individual clip carries its own miniature earnings card on its edit page. Open any clip from <strong>Products<\/strong> in the store-manager sidebar, and the <strong>Earnings for this product (last 90 days)<\/strong> card shows four numbers:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Sales<\/strong> \u2014 how many times the clip sold.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Total<\/strong> \u2014 gross revenue in EUR.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Your payout<\/strong> \u2014 what you kept after the split.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Distinct buyers<\/strong> \u2014 how many unique fans bought it.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Plus a footer line: <em>&#8220;Last sale: [date]&#8221;<\/em>. Empty state: <em>&#8220;No sales yet \u2014 once someone buys this, the totals will show up here.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<hr\/>\n<h2>9. CSV export &amp; monthly statement<\/h2>\n<p>At the bottom of the page, two buttons:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Download CSV<\/strong> \u2014 exports the current view (selected range and source) as a comma-separated file. Use it for tax prep, import into a spreadsheet, or to feed into an accountant&#8217;s template.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Monthly statement (printable)<\/strong> \u2014 opens a printable statement for the month containing your range&#8217;s end date. This is the single page to print or save when you need a clean record for the books.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Right next to the buttons, a small disclaimer: <em>&#8220;Refunded transactions are excluded.&#8221;<\/em> followed by either an &#8220;Updated [date]&#8221; timestamp or <em>&#8220;Numbers refresh once per day.&#8221;<\/em> The dashboard reads from a daily rollup, so today&#8217;s numbers may lag a few hours behind real-time.<\/p>\n<hr\/>\n<h2>10. Reading the dashboard well \u2014 patterns to look for<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Source mix.<\/strong> The split between Tips \/ Subscriptions \/ Clip sales tells you what your business actually <em>is<\/em>. A creator who&#8217;s 80% tips runs differently from one who&#8217;s 80% subscriptions. There&#8217;s no &#8220;right&#8221; mix \u2014 but knowing yours helps decide where to put the next hour of work.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Tippers vs paying viewers.<\/strong> If they&#8217;re nearly equal, most of your paying fans tip. If Tippers is much smaller, your other revenue (subs, clips, shows) is doing the heavy lifting.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Live sessions vs live revenue.<\/strong> Cross-check Live sessions in the KPIs with how much the Live-related buckets (Tips, Premium-room meter, Ticket shows, Private shows) added in the same range. Low ratio = streams aren&#8217;t converting; might mean the room mode isn&#8217;t right for your audience.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Last activity column.<\/strong> A clip with high lifetime sales but a &#8220;Last activity&#8221; weeks ago is a candidate for a relaunch \u2014 boost it via a feed post, mention it in a stream, drop the price for a week.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Year vs Last 7 Days.<\/strong> Toggle between them to see whether you&#8217;re growing \u2014 if Year-to-date averages out to less per week than Last 7 Days, your trend is up.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr\/>\n<h2>11. Common questions<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Q: Why does Gross differ from what fans paid me on a single transaction?<\/strong><br \/>\nGross on the dashboard already excludes refunded transactions. If a fan paid \u20ac10 and was refunded, the dashboard shows \u20ac0 for that transaction. The disclaimer at the bottom confirms this.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Q: Why is the dashboard showing yesterday&#8217;s numbers as 0?<\/strong><br \/>\nThe dashboard reads from a daily rollup that runs once per day. Today&#8217;s earnings appear within a couple of hours of each transaction, but the rollup may not have processed yesterday&#8217;s entries yet. Check back later or look at the &#8220;Updated [date]&#8221; timestamp at the bottom.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Q: My total here doesn&#8217;t match my last payout.<\/strong><br \/>\nThat&#8217;s expected. The dashboard shows earnings in your selected date range; payouts are a separate cycle that bundles up earnings since the last one. See <a href=\"https:\/\/guyscat.com\/help\/where-do-i-find-my-payout-history\/\"><strong>Reading your Payouts page<\/strong><\/a> for the cycle view.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Q: Where do tips from the live room show up?<\/strong><br \/>\nUnder the <strong>Tips<\/strong> bucket. Both free-form tips and tip-menu triggers count toward the same bucket \u2014 there&#8217;s no separate slice for menu vs free-form.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Q: A clip is in the Top earners list but I don&#8217;t recognise it.<\/strong><br \/>\nClick through to the clip via your Products page \u2014 internal helper products and discount-line items can occasionally appear under a system-generated label. The Asset column will show whatever name the clip was published with.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Q: Is the CSV export the same as the monthly statement?<\/strong><br \/>\nNo. CSV is the raw dataset for the current view (range + source).
